Privacy Policy — Black & Solve

Effective date: September 15, 2026

Black & Solve (com.qrworldwide.blacksolve) is a nonogram (picross) puzzle game for Android. This policy describes what information the app handles, and it is deliberately short, because the app handles very little.

What we collect

Very little, and nothing that names you. Black & Solve has no user accounts, no registration and no crash-reporting SDK. We do not collect, store or transmit your name, email address, contacts, precise location, photos or any other personal information. The app requests no permissions of its own.

Analytics

Starting with version 0.5, the app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to count how many players open the game and reach its first milestones, and to find out when ads fail to work. The app itself sends only: the first time the app is opened, the first and third puzzle solved, whether the consent step completed, the first moment an ad could be shown, and when an ad failed to load or was not ready (with Google's error code). It sends no puzzle contents, solve times, settings or anything you type.

To report these, Google's Analytics SDK may collect:

We use this to understand whether players who find the game through our ads actually play it, and to let Google Ads measure that. This processing is performed by Google under policies.google.com/privacy. Where consent is required (see below), the choice you make in the consent form also applies to analytics.

Your game progress

Puzzles you solve, your solve times and your settings are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded anywhere, and we cannot see them. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Advertising

The app shows ads served by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). To serve and measure ads, Google's SDK may collect:

This collection is performed by Google under Google's own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. How Google uses this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your device settings under Settings → Google → Ads.

Consent (EEA, UK and other regulated regions)

If you are in a region where consent is required (such as the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), the app shows Google's consent form before any ad is loaded, and honors your choice. You can decline personalized advertising; the app then shows non-personalized ads. Ads are not loaded until the consent flow completes. Your choice is passed to Google Analytics for Firebase through Google's consent mode.

Rewarded ads

Some hints are offered in exchange for watching a rewarded video ad. Watching is always optional and always requires your explicit tap; the game is fully playable without ever watching one.

Children

Black & Solve is intended for a general audience aged 13 and up. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app itself stores no game data off-device; advertising identifiers can be reset in device settings as described above.

Security

The app makes no network connections of its own. The only network traffic is Google's: ad serving through the Google Mobile Ads SDK and analytics through Google Analytics for Firebase, both over encrypted (TLS) connections managed by those SDKs.

Data deletion

All game data lives on your device and is removed by uninstalling the app. The advertising ID is managed and deletable in your device settings. Uninstalling also discards the app instance ID used by analytics. For any other request, including deletion of analytics data, contact us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated and the effective date above will change before that version ships.
